Monks in anime: The Eccentric Family 2

    The list of the monks in anime that I use for this monks in anime series also has images of the monks 

from each anime in addition to some words to describe them.  The monk in the anime series The 

Eccentric Family 2 (2 means second season - I only watched the second season because the monk is 

only in the second season according to the monks in anime information I use) is not the one who 

appeared in most of season 2, but is the one who shows up in the second to last episode of season 2, 

which is what the first video shows.  The monk who did appear in most of season 2 is actually a 

younger version of the actual monk in the series.  While the actual monk was away living his own life 

with others (I do not think the others were monks), the younger version of this monk tried to seize 

power for his family since no one could stop him or even knew what he was really doing, or trying to 

do.  The father of this family was actually alive, but he could shapeshift, so he shapeshifted into a 

younger version of one of his sons.  This son was not around until he came back to straighten things 

out after a visit from someone going on a trip, which is also seen in the first video.  The second video 

shows this older monk attempting to fix the mess his family created, which he is sorry for.  There are 

supernatural elements to all of this, but the supernatural elements are not what make the families, and 

characters, in this anime eccentric.  Personalities are what make people eccentric.  And dealing with 

these personalities is what the actual monk in this series attempts to do.
