Using your mind in Pet

Note:  Since the students in my anime club have been creating posts here without using videos, I figured I

would give that a try myself.  I don't know if I will continue to do this with my posts moving forward or

how I will do that (maybe it will depend on the videos that I can and if I feel like using one or not).  In my

current graduate school course about writing, I have mentioned that I write these posts for myself.  I have

also learned that when you write for yourself, you also write for others.  With that in mind, I still plan to

write these posts, but they may be a little different than usual now.

The anime that I will be focusing on for this week is the anime Pet.  Pet is an anime that is mostly

psychological, which means that it is strange, but also interesting because it makes you think.

Psychological anime are ones that I like, despite that feeling not usually being mutual, which explains

why I didn't feel like using a video for this reflection (couldn't find a good video or one I liked for this

reflection).

Anyway, Pet is an anime that deals with using your mind to control others, situations, people in

situations, etc.  How that happens in the anime is obviously not how it happens in real life, but using your

mind is always important, whether it be in a certain way in an anime or in real life.  The certain way that

your mind should be used is to help others, not just yourself.  In the anime Pet, the mind is usually used

for the benefit of others, but not always in good ways.  This can happen in real life too.  Using your mind

is not something that you should take lightly.  The anime Pet is an example of using your mind.
