As I mentioned in my previous post for this series, the woman who wrote the chapter about the anime

Mononoke in the book Anime Impact also wrote the chapter about the anime Shiki.   Unfortunately, this

woman didn't create a video about Shiki like she did for Mononoke, but I have a feeling I would prefer

what she wrote anyway since it focuses a lot on the story, including a reflection on what happens, what

some of the characters do and why they do it, including the monk character in the two videos for this

reflection, and what it has to do with us (seriously, it's really good).  Since I couldn't find a video of this

series from this author, hopefully the two videos in this reflection will be good enough.

The two videos in this reflection talk about the monk in this series (there are others, but its mostly the

one that these videos talk about).  While he spends most of the series questioning what is going on, which

he does in several ways, like through his writing, everyone else is reacting in different ways based on

what is going on.  Questioning things is good and helpful (it also could've avoided a lot of problems if

done properly, meaning at the right time and in the right ways), but there's a point where you need to do

something besides question everything.
