Monks in anime: Ben-To

     The monk in the anime Ben-To is one of the side characters mentioned in the video for this reflection 

(it doesn't actually talk about him, but at the point when the video mentions the side characters, they 

happen to show the monk as an example).  The only clues given to indicate that this character is a monk is 

a fact that his fighting name (or whatever they call that) is Monk and that the marks on his forehead 

indicate that he is a Shaolin monk.  Shaolin monks are known for their fighting ability, but I don't think 

they use this ability to fight others for food.  Anyway, the video for this reflection mostly talks about what 

the anime Ben-To is about and how it tells its story.  Part of this involves a monk.
