Transpersonal relationships in Horimiya

Even though the graduate school course that I am in right now is called The Transpersonal

Relationship, I'm not really sure what that means (it doesn't really help that the mentor for this course

doesn't know either), but I think trying to understand what this relationship, as well as relationships,

means can be seen in the video for this reflection of a review of the last episode of the anime

Horimiya.  What makes Horimiya different from other romantic comedy anime is that it does not just

focus on the relationship between the main characters, but the various relationships of the other

characters in the anime too.  The relationship between the main characters may be the usual romantic

relationship, but this relationship doesn't need time to develop, so time can be given to focus on other

relationships in the show as well.   Other relationships are important too.  They don't always need to be

romantic in the usual sense of romance, meaning getting a girlfriend/boyfriend or wife/husband.

What's important in relationships is making connections, which is what the video talks about.  In a

transpersonal sense, what matters is for the relationship, or relationships, to be holistic and intuitive

(Holistic Mentoring and Applied Intuitive Arts is part of The Transpersonal Relationship course title, so

that can also help in understanding what The Transpersonal Relationship, and Relationships, means).

Everyone does this in their own way, whether it be marriage, dating, or living as a monk, which is not

commonly seen in anime as I'm seeing in my monks in anime series.  Horimiya also offers several

different examples of transpersonal relationships.
