Back Arrow and the power of conviction

When I was watching anime with a former student recently, which actually ended recently, we decided
to check out the anime Back Arrow since this former student felt like watching another anime with me
that wasn't very great so we could make fun of it together (we previously did that with The God of High
School, which is one of the several new anime posts of mine on the martial arts blog I contribute to). The
video for this reflection also talks about how weird this anime is, which I really think is the case, but
there's something mentioned briefly in the video that I would like to talk about/reflect on, which is the use
of the power of conviction. The fighting power in this anime is the power of conviction, which is
different for every character that fights depending on what their conviction is. This does happen in weird
ways, like fighting in giant robots for some reason (to make the conviction power stronger/more
effective?), but it still happens.
