Monks in anime: One Punch Man

     I'm not sure why the "villain" who appears in this brief scene from the anime One Punch Man for this 

reflection is considered to be a monk.  He's a caveman who was revived into modern society, so I guess 

he was a monk in his past life.  He's treated as a villain now because he started attacking people when he 

was unfrozen after being frozen in ice for a long time.  He most likely didn't understand what was going 

on when he was unfrozen and there's no evidence that people tried to explain it to him (why would he be 

unfrozen in the first place though?), so he was considered a villain because of what he did as a result of 

what he most likely didn't want.
