Faith in Angel's Egg

In the book Anime Impact, there's a chapter about the anime movie Angel's Egg that's written by the

creator of the video that I use for this reflection (the chapter is condensed from this video). There are

many interesting points made in this video that also appear to an extent in the book Anime Impact, but the

point that I want to focus on here is what is said about faith in this movie (I've already seen the movie

because it can be seen on a website I use to stream anime). It seems pretty clear to me that an

understanding and a demonstration of faith can be seen in this movie. How it can be seen depends on

the person seeing it, but how it's demonstrated depends on how you see the two main characters (the man

with a cross and the girl with an egg) in the movie, as well as how you understand what they do, what

happens to them, and why it happens to them. There are ways to explain faith, like with definitions and

quotes about it, but personalizing faith, as well as explanations of it, is how I think you can understand

what faith is and what it means to you and in where you see it, like in the movie Angel's Egg.
