Character development in Deadman Wonderland

Deadman Wonderland is the anime that a student who was going to do his anime presentation on
Elfen Lied ended up presenting. What happened in this presentation, which was what usually
happened with these presentations, is that he presented random scenes without really linking what
happens in the entire anime. After taking the time to watch this anime recently, and with the help of
the video in this reflection, I could see what happened throughout, which was character development.
When character development happens in anime, it's usually seen in the main character and his
interaction with other characters. At least one traumatic event is usually important too. In Deadman
Wonderland, this is seen when the main character is falsely accused of killing his classmates, which
results in him being sent to a prison/amusement park called Deadman Wonderland, which is where
he meets and interacts with other characters.
