The joy of Ponyo

     Ponyo is an anime film that fills you with joy, as the title of this post and video in this reflection

suggest.  I'm not against anything that does this, but I feel it's not realistic.  These things don't really

need to be realistic, as long as you don't forget what the world is really like and what you really need to

deal with instead of dealing with it completely by avoidance.  It's important to take time for yourself

and to enjoy yourself when doing so, like taking the time to enjoy the anime film Ponyo, but at the

same time, it's also important to remember what you are really part of.  This is a good time to do both.

It's always a good time to do both, but this pandemic gives us, at least me, more time to think about

these things.
