Familial bonds in Michiko & Hatchin

     Familial bonds are something that we all have.  Whether these bonds be with family we are related to 

by blood, people who we live with, or other people who we know and spend time with, we all have, or 

should have, at least one of these bonds.  Having them is one thing.  How we have them, and how we feel 

about them, is another, as well as how we express these feelings.  The anime Michiko & Hatchin offers an 

example of how familial bonds can be seen, which is definitely explained well by the video that I use for 

this reflection.

Anime Lectio: Luce's Crusade

                                                              1. Why do Anime Lectio?   Anime Lectio is a time for us to stop and take a breath. Between work, activities, family life, and social media, our minds are always moving. We rarely take time to contemplate and ask, why am I watching this anime? What’s the point of all this?
