Going with the flow in Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto

I've always been interested in the smarter characters in anime.  The usual sign of such characters is

what they do, which is to go with the flow, meaning act based on what happens at the moment.  Haven't

You Heard?  I'm Sakamoto is what happens when you make such a character the main character of an

anime.  After recently seeing a friend of mine talk about it on Facebook, I decided to watch the series for

myself, which is something I planned to do for a while (this happens a lot, although I plan to do

something different starting next week based on graduate school - more about that next week).

Anyway, going with the flow happens a lot in this anime since the main character is usually an

example of a character that would be a side character in anime.  Instead of having a few moments where

the smart character does something that no one else would think of, this anime focuses on that, which is

what the video for this reflection also focuses on.  Doing things that no one else would think of, or going

with the flow, is something that we should do too.
