Before I get into the monks in the anime Mononoke in the second video, I would like to first talk

about the series in general, which is done in the first video.  The creator of the first video has also

written a chapter about the anime Mononoke in the book Anime Impact, as well as a chapter about an

anime that I plan to talk about next week.  Some of the content in the video is actually the same as the

content of the written chapter, but the ideas in both are expressed in different ways due to the nature of

writing your ideas vs. expressing them in a video.

Anyway, the monks in the second video are from the fifth episode of the series (the channel I use to

show the episode has the others - it may help to see episodes three and four too).  There are also other

characters with these monks, but the monks are the focus of this episode, particularly the one causing

the current problems that involve thoughts and feelings of incest.  This was also seen in the previous,

and first, entry for this monks in anime series, but the thoughts and feelings of incest here are mostly

thoughts and feelings.  Since they weren't dealt with properly when they started, these thoughts and

feelings became more problematic as they were allowed a significant amount of time to grow and have

a great influence on many people, not just the ones with these thoughts and feelings (the brother and

sister both had these thoughts and feelings, but I guess the sister dealt with that before the brother did

since the brother's thoughts and feelings are more complicated).
