Monks in anime: Boruto: Naruto Next Generation

The personality of the monk in the series Boruto: Naruto Next Generation is what I want to focus on in

this reflection, which is also the part of the video that I use for this reflection.  The monk in this anime is

actually the host of a powerful and evil being.  The powerful and evil being needed a new body after their

own body was injured by someone who betrayed them and a monk who could be this new body just

happened to be near where he was injured (I saw this information somewhere before - the video for this

reflection might have this information near the beginning of it).  Anyway, with a new body comes a new

personality (the power is most likely solely, or at least mostly, from the one who took over the body)

based on the personality of who took over the body in addition to who had the body in the first place.  The

feelings of the one who took over the body and the feelings of those who had the body in the first place

don't always match up, which explains some of the unusual things the character does, like his politeness

despite what he does, as well as crying about it.  These things don't happen all of the time, but when it

does, it could be the personality of the monk showing itself since a monk most likely wouldn't play the

villain unless he were controlled, which is the case with the monk villain in this anime series.
